Firestone names 2015 Master Contractors

Firestone Building Products Co. LLC, Indianapolis, announced 256 companies in the U.S., Mexico and Canada have received the 2015 Master Contractor Award. The Master Contractor program presents three awards annually—the Master Contractor Award, the Inner Circle of Quality Award and the President's Club Award.

Master Contractor Award recipients are selected based on total square footage installed, and quality points are accumulated for outstanding inspection ratings on systems covered by a Firestone Building Products Red Shield™ warranty. Master Contractors also are eligible to earn points for sustainability.

To receive the Master Contractor Award, contractors must have completed at least eight Red Shield warrantied jobs in 2014 and earned a Preferred Quality Incidence Rating (QIR) that did not exceed three times the average QIR for Red Shield licensed contractors.

Master Contractors were eligible to receive the Inner Circle of Quality Award by installing at least eight warranted Firestone Building Products roof systems during 2014 and four roofs per year for each of the previous four years; maintained at least 2 million square feet of Firestone Building Products roof systems under warranty; and achieved an annual QIR of 1.25 or less.

The top 34 Master Contractors are recognized with the President's Club Award. To earn the award, contractors must have accrued the highest number of quality points for superior inspection ratings and total square footage of Firestone Red Shield warrantied roof system installations during the past year.
