PetersenDean Roofing & Solar announces partnership

PetersenDean Roofing & Solar, Fremont, Calif., has announced its partnership with SolarEdge Technologies, Fremont, and LG Chem, Seoul, South Korea, to offer homeowners an affordable solar energy creation and storage option. PetersenDean Roofing & Solar installs about 2,000 solar and roof systems in the U.S. every month.

SolarEdge will supply an intelligent inverter solution that maximizes the power generation of individual photovoltaic (PV) modules by using StorEdge technology, which manages solar energy production, consumption and storage. SolarEdge's solution will help PetersenDean Roofing & Solar residential customers increase their energy independence. LG Chem will provide its residential energy storage unit 10H 9.8-kilowatt-hour battery packs for energy storage. As a result of the partnership, PetersenDean Roofing & Solar customers will be able to monitor their PV systems' solar energy generation, solar energy storage and battery status through a single platform, helping ensure they will have backup power if their local sources of electricity diminish.
