Antis Roofing & Waterproofing reroofs a veteran's home

Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, Irvine, Calif., along with community leaders and neighbors, has replaced an old, leaking roof system on former U.S. Marine Master Sergeant Leroy "Pops" Williams' home.

Antis sent workers to protect the home against a summer storm then reached out to businesses and philanthropists to organize a team. On Oct. 20, Antis Roofing & Waterproofing employees, Williams' neighbors and community partners, including the American Red Cross, installed a new roof system on Williams' home.

NRCA member Malarkey Roofing Products, Portland, Ore., and Habitat for Humanity® of Orange County, Calif., donated roof shingles; OC Metals, Santa Ana, Calif., donated the flashing; NRCA member Allied Building Products Corp., East Rutherford, N.J., donated the waterproofing membrane, nails and caulking; and Speedpro Imaging, Scottsdale, Ariz., created banners to thank the sponsors.
