Close-up

In December 2009, the Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery opened at St. Joseph Mercy Canton Health Center in Canton, Mich. The 53,600-square-foot outpatient center offers many advanced services—some which used to be available only at full-service hospitals—including audiology testing, clinical laboratory services, physical medicine and rehabilitation services, radiology services, specialty medical practices and urgent care, among others. Additionally, the facility features a Health Exploration Station, Michigan's first interactive health education center.

Lutz Roofing Co. Inc., Shelby Township, Mich., was selected to install the new facility's Petersen Aluminum roof system, which includes 3,800 square feet of 16-inch-wide, 24-gauge, Kynar 500®-coated Tite-Loc Panels on the curved entrance; 13,264 square feet of 18-inch-wide, 24-gauge Snap Clad™ Panels; and 2,865 square feet of 12-inch-wide, 22-gauge PAC-CLAD Flush Panels, all in Hemlock Green.
