In May, Bay Valley Contractors Inc., Concord, Calif., completed a fully integrated residential solar photovoltaic panel installation, the first of its kind in California.
The GAF 5.1-kilowatt DecoTech™ Roof-Integrated Solar System was designed to provide a seamless aesthetic and is installed directly onto a roof deck. The system was installed on a home in Concord, about 30 miles east of San Francisco. The location follows several successful installations on test sites throughout the U.S.
