Insulation is made from recycled materials

Freudenberg Politex has introduced Ecozero,® a panel for thermoacoustic insulation of walls and roofs that is made from polyester fiber obtained by recycling post-consumer polyethylene terephthalate bottles.

Ecozero reportedly is environmentally friendly and will not rot and is available in various thicknesses and densities. The panels are said to perform well as thermal insulation and acoustic insulation and provide fire resistance. Ecozero reportedly is compact, durable, breathable and nonallergenic.
