Polyglass® USA Inc. has added Polybrite™ white coatings to its Kool Roof Solutions. The Polybrite product line includes Polybrite 70 White Elastomeric Roof Coating, Polybrite 72 White Flashing Compound, Polybrite 74 Rust Inhibitor and Polybrite 76 Base Coating for Ponding Water. Polybrite coatings are said to increase roof systems' energy efficiency and long-term performance.

Polybrite 70 White Elastomeric Roof Coating is a water-based coating that reportedly waterproofs metal, copper, wood, polymer-modified bitumen, PVC, TPO, EPDM, spray polyurethane foam and concrete roof substrates.

Polybrite 72 White Flashing Compound is a water-based rubber sealant that seals joints, seams, penetrations and fasteners on metal and concrete roof decks before applying Polybrite 70 White Elastomeric Roof Coating.

Polybrite 74 Rust Inhibitor is a light-blue industrial-strength primer designed to protect metal roof systems from rust.

Springs increase vehicle stability

Firestone Industrial Products Co. LLC has introduced its Ride-Rite™ kit for 2005-08 Isuzu N-Series Regular Cab and Crew Cab forward trucks. The Ride-Rite kit features Ride-Rite air helper springs, which reportedly maximize a truck's load support to improve its ride quality.

Ride-Rite air helper springs, which are installed between a truck's frame and axle, reportedly compensate for varying road conditions and load capacities. A pair of Ride-Rite air helper springs reportedly can provide up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity. The springs are said to maintain trucks' braking effectiveness, level off-center loads, reduce tire wear and increase vehicle stability.

Truck boxes are secure

Knaack LLC has introduced its WEATHER GUARD® Hi-Side Truck Boxes, which are available in 16 aluminum models and 11 steel models and reportedly provide durable, convenient and secure tool storage above truck beds.

WEATHER GUARD Hi-Side Truck Boxes feature a three-point latching system that is said to secure each side of the truck box and protect against theft, vandalism and weather. Crane offers speed options

Stellar Industries Inc. has introduced its Model 12628 telescopic service crane, which has a 28 1/2-foot-long hydraulic reach and features a planetary drive winch system that reportedly produces line speeds up to 50 feet per minute. Model 12628 features a hexagonal boom design and includes a variable-speed multifunction radio remote control.

Products resist heat

Ergodyne has added High Performance Class 2 Evaporative Cooling Vest (6675), Chill-Its® Evaporative Cooling Vest (6665), Phase Change Cooling Vest (6200), Cooling Towel (6602) and High Performance Hats (6640, 6645 and 6655) to its Chill-Its product line. All Chill-Its products reportedly help keep wearers cool and dry.

High Performance Class 2 Evaporative Cooling Vest (6675) features a water-repellant liner, polymer-embedded fabric and polyester mesh exterior and reportedly can be soaked in cold water and worn by workers.

Chill-Its Evaporative Cooling Vest (6665) also can be soaked in water and features a nylon exterior and interior fabric layer embedded with acrylic polymers that are said to be absorbent.

Phase Change Cooling Vest (6200) is available in khaki and high-visibility orange and reportedly can maintain a temperature of 58 F for up to four hours.

Cooling Towel (6602) is made of synthetic chamois and is said to be soft and washable.

Bird deterrent does not harm birds

Roof coatings are solvent-free

West Development Group has introduced its HSS 535 and HSS 540 R2R one-component moisture-curing silicone rubber roof coatings for use with sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam. The coatings reportedly are solvent-free.

HSS 535 and HSS 540 R2R can be rolled or spray-applied, and touch-up work can be done with a brush or roller. The coatings reportedly are tack-free in one to two hours and cure at normal temperatures in two to six hours by reacting with moisture in the air. The coatings are said to form a durable and moisture-free seal.

Gutter system is recyclable

GLI Systems Inc. has introduced RainTube,® a porous tube made of recycled high-density polyethylene that reportedly fits tightly into the body of any rain gutter and prevents clogging and damage from snow and ice.

Coating system reduces cooling costs

MCPU Polymer Engineering has introduced Iron Sentry,™ a roof coating system that reportedly protects roof systems and can reduce a building's cooling costs 30 percent.

Englert Inc. has introduced its Englert Metalman HT Self-Adhesive Roof Underlayment, a 40-mil-thick waterproofing membrane composed of SBS polymer-modified bitumen and a polyethylene woven-top facer that is said to be ultraviolet-resistant and slip-resistant.

Englert Metalman HT Self-Adhesive Roof Underlayment reportedly can withstand temperatures up to 250 F. The underlayment features a silicone backing that reportedly protects against dehydration and allows the underlayment to be stored outside.

Ladder strap provides safety
