Hart & Cooley Inc.'s Commercial Products Group has added Premier Seal ReRoof Drain products to its Portals Plus product line.

Premier Seal ReRoof Drains fit standard 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-inch roof drain pipes. The drains use EPDM rubber seals that reportedly expand securely against the inside of existing piping and feature white ABS interior casings said to provide greater visibility during installation.

Program measures roofs remotely

GeoEstimator has introduced its GeoEstimator program, which uses aerial images, satellite images and software to measure numerous surfaces, including ridges, valleys, perimeters and step flashing.

GeoEstimator's program is said to save time and money by allowing users to measure roofs remotely. Users can choose basic or complete reports, which provide two-dimensional aerial roof images. The program's digital images reportedly straighten dimensions and reduce the perception of skew.

Weathering package protects membranes

Carlisle SynTec Inc. has introduced its OctaGuard™ XT, a weathering package for its Sure-Weld TPO roof membranes that features heat-stabilizing antioxidants, ultraviolet (UV) light stabilizers, and organic and inorganic UV absorbers that reportedly help protect membranes and improve their ability to resist deterioration caused by weather.

When combined with the company's TPO formulation, OctaGuard XT reportedly is smooth and resists dirt, debris, mildew and bacteria buildup.

Shingle tool is accurate

Haag Engineering has redesigned its Shingle Gauge,™ which is used to measure the approximate current or replacement warranty of three-tab organic, three-tab fiberglass and laminated asphalt composition shingles.

Shingle Gauge has been recalibrated and reportedly is current and accurate. The tool is similar to a metal ruler, made of stainless steel and said to be durable. The redesigned tool remains the same size and shape as the previous version but features "04/09" below the words "Shingle Gauge" to distinguish the current version.
