Publication explains IECC 2015

The Institute for Market Transformation, with assistance from the Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing and Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association, has published an International Energy Conservation Code as Applied to Commercial Roofing brochure to explain reroofing clarifications in the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code® (IECC 2015).

The brochure was created to help local code officials better understand the energy-efficiency requirements for all types of commercial roofing projects and serve as a guide to explain code requirements to roofing contractors seeking construction permits, design professionals involved in roofing selection and specification, and building owners.

The brochure contains a detailed listing of definitions and energy regulations that apply to commercial roofing and illustrations of typical roofing conditions.
