NRCA's second annual Children's Art Contest celebrates the roofing profession

For the second year, NRCA conducted its Children's Art Contest as part of National Roofing Week, July 5-11. Sponsored by A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply, Aurora, Ill., the contest was open to children in grades 1-8 who are relatives of NRCA contractor members and their employees. Children were asked to illustrate what roofs do, and 52 entries were submitted. Online public voting on NRCA's website generated more than 3,000 votes. The following three winners received iPads and $100 gift cards.
