NRCA University offers free classes
This spring, NRCA University will be offering two free roofing safety classes: Roofing Safety: OSHA 30-hour Program and Focus 4 Safety.
The Roofing Safety: OSHA 30-hour Program will be held April 20-23 in Chicago; April 27-30 in Denver and Orlando, Fla.; and May 11-14 in Newark, N.J. Program attendees will learn how to find applicable standards for roofing work and will be better able to recognize and analyze workplace hazards to find workable solutions that comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
Focus 4 Safety is a half-day program that examines the safety hazards OSHA claims account for the greatest number of preventable fatalities in the construction industry: falls; electrocution; and struck-by, caught-in and caught-between accidents. The program also discusses what...
