Cynthia Long, a project manager for the Roofing Design
Department of INSPEC Inc., Minneapolis, has received the Andrew J.
Drozda Memorial Academic Affairs Award from the Construction
Specifications Institute (CSI). The annual award is presented to an
individual, firm or organization that has enhanced CSI's image and
recognition at academic institutions that offer
construction-related curricula.
Long was nominated for providing educational programs, such as
the Explorer Program that recruits and educates 14- to 20-year-old
students who are interested in construction and architectural
careers.
