Underlayment is high-temperature-rated

MFM Building Products has made available its MFM Wind & Water Seal Plus,™ a 40-mil high-temperature-rated waterproofing underlayment composed of reinforced, nonslip polymer film laminated to a rubberized asphalt adhesive system.

The underlayment reportedly is ideal for secondary water resistance should the main roof system fail. A split release liner protects the adhesive and is said to allow for easy installation in valley applications.

MFM Wind & Water Seal Plus is available in a 36-inch-wide by 67-foot-long roll to provide 200 square feet of coverage per roll. It can be applied at a minimum temperature of 50 F and has a maximum...
