What is your position within your company?
I am a controller for Saratoga Roofing & Construction, Oklahoma City.

What is the most unusual roofing project you've performed?
We used salvaged metal while working on my grandfather's hay barn.

Why did you become a part of the roofing industry?
I've been in the building materials and construction industry for 25 years. Saratoga Roofing & Construction offered me a position where I could make a difference with a growing company that believes in valuing God.

What was your first roofing experience?
I helped my dad roof our house with cedar shakes when I was 12 years old.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an astronaut.

What is the most high-tech thing in your house?
My computer

List three words that best describe you.
Friendly, thoughtful and honest

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would like to travel to the International Space Station. I also would love to visit Tibet.

What three condiments always are in your fridge?
Spicy mustard, mayo and Louisiana Hot Sauce

What is your biggest pet peeve?
Cruelty of any kind

What quality do you most like in a person?
Honesty

If you could invite any three people (dead or alive) to dinner, whom would you invite and why?
I would invite my dad because he never got to meet my daughter, and he would have gotten a kick out of her. I also would invite Jesus and Buddha to ask them how they would navigate our modern world.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
The most challenging aspect of my job is maintaining effective and timely communication with operations in the field and with our customers.

What is your roofing industry involvement?
I frequently attend American Subcontractors Association seminars.

People would be surprised to know …
I've acted in a few movies, including "Where the Red Fern Grows" in 2003 and independent films such as "Pearl," "Time Expired" and "The Downwinders." I also play the character John Lewis III in "Bringing Up Bobby," which will be released in October and stars Milla Jovovich, Bill Pullman and Marcia Cross.
