Tape adheres to most surfaces

MFM Building Products Corp. has made available MFM Seal & Coat™ EiFS Tape, a self-adhering membrane composed of a polyester fabric laminated to a rubberized asphalt adhesive.

The tape is designed to be used as a waterproofing tape. The rubberized adhesive self-seals around common fasteners and is intended to be covered by stucco, a coating, or by siding and trim.

The tape reportedly will adhere to most clean, dry surfaces, including masonry, concrete, house wrap, foam insulation board, insulating concrete form, plywood, oriented strand board, rigid vinyl, aluminum and other common construction materials. It has a thickness of 30 mils; can be applied in temperatures from 40 F to 110 F; and is available in 4-, 6- or 9-inch-wide by 100-foot-long rolls.

Suspension system adjusts for loads

Firestone Industrial Products Co. LLC has made its R4Tech™ air-suspension system available for 2011-12 Ford® F-450 4WD Long Bed trucks.

R4Tech is a hybrid air- and leaf-spring suspension system designed to replace factory leaf-spring suspensions. It features Firestone Airide™ air springs, Ride-Rite™ air accessories and a SANLUIS Rassini® leaf-spring suspension. It creates a fully functional suspension system that adjusts for varying load capacities and reportedly improves towing effectiveness, headlight aim and driveline angles independent of load conditions. It uses the variable spring rate of the air spring to stiffen when the truck is loaded and soften when unloaded.

Attachment clamp is for metal roofs

S-5!® has announced the S-5-N attachment clamp designed for distinctive 1-inch nail strip metal roof profiles.

S-5-N features a wide throat that accommodates most nail strip profiles allowing the clamp to sit straighter on the seam, reportedly ensuring a tight, strong fit.

Because the clamp uses S-5!'s zero-penetration technology, S-5-N's round-point set screws reportedly do not penetrate the roof's weather membrane, do not damage steel panels' protective coatings and will not cause scoring.
