women to become professional officers in the Navy and Marine Corps.
Serving as the undergraduate college for the U.S. naval service,
students attend the academy for four years, graduating with a
bachelor's of science degree, and then commission as ensigns in the
Navy or second lieutenants in the Marine Corps, serving at least
