The North/East Roofing Educational Foundation (NEREF), a
nonprofit corporation affiliated with the North/East Roofing
Contractors Association (NERCA), received a $50,000 pledge from
Firestone Building Products Co., Carmel, Ind., and Admiral Building
Products Inc., Wilmington, Mass. The companies each will donate
$25,000 during the next five years to NEREF's scholarship
program.
"Our foundation will have added stability, and these funds will
allow us to expand the scholarship program that we offer to our
members' employees and families," says NEREF Chairman Paul
