Tarco Specialty Products Inc. has made available
LeakBarrier™ Ice and Water Armor, a self-adhering
underlayment that protects a roof deck and building from leaks, ice
and water dams, and wind-driven rain.
The product, which can be used under metal, tile or shingles, is
designed for valleys, ridges, coping joints, chimneys, vents,
dormers, skylights and low-slope roof areas. The underlayment is
made of SBS-modified bitumen and features a split-back release film
that is said to adhere to concrete, plywood, wood composition board
and gypsum sheathing decks.
