Membrane offers reliability

Carlisle Coatings & Waterproofing has released its CCW-525 liquid-applied waterproofing membrane, which can waterproof a variety of concrete substrates and bridge cracks that may develop in a substrate. The moisture-cured and coal-tar-free membrane is said to provide a strong bond to a substrate.

CCW-525 is a liquid-applied elastomeric modified polyurethane membrane that can be used on above- and below-grade vertical and horizontal applications. It is said to provide a flexible, seamless surface and allow applications between the structural slab and wearing course on a variety of concrete surfaces. Said to offer quick and easy application, the membrane typically is applied to a horizontal surface using a notched squeegee and vertical surface using a roller.
