At an elevation of 737 feet, Deutsche Bank Americas' headquarters located on Wall
Street in New York's Manhattan features the world's tallest photovoltaic (PV) system.
The 650-module PV array on the 745-foot-high 50-story skyscraper is located on the
roof system's inclined south and east portions and currently is the highest elevated
solar PV flat-panel array in the world. The 122.4-kilowatt system was designed and
constructed by Vanguard Energy Partners, Branchburg, N.J., using MAGE® POWERTEC
PLUS high-efficiency modules. The PV system is expected to reduce the bank's electricity
consumption and decrease carbon emissions by 100 metric tons each year.
Deutsche Bank has increased its use of clean electricity from 7 percent to 65 percent
globally during the past four years. In the U.S., 100 percent of its purchased electricity
is generated from wind power.
