South Florida Slate, Delray Beach, was subcontracted by Carpenter's Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc., Palm Beach, Fla., to install 200 squares of Brazilian copper gray slate on this private home located in St. Andrew's Country Club, Boca Raton, Fla. The project took six months to complete, and the home's exterior walls feature quartz stone.
Built by Paskoski Construction, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the home has energy-efficient elements, including LED lighting throughout the house, gas tankless water heaters, Icynene® insulation, and air-conditioning systems with a seasonal energy-efficiency rating of 19 and Trane CleanEffects™ filters.
