Close-up

The logo for Living World Community Church in Red Lion, Pa., is an open Bible and the inspiration for the exterior design of the church’s overlapping curved roof systems.

Designed by Jeffrey Harris Architect, Doylestown, Pa., the Living World Community Church project included a 30,000-square-foot expansion onto an existing 90,000-square-foot building. The 15-inch-wide Dutch Seam® standing-seam panels and 16 1/2-inch-wide convex, curved Field-Lok™ panels were installed by Progressive Services Inc., Dover, Pa., and manufactured by ATAS International Inc. in .032-inch aluminum with a 70% PVDF finish in medium bronze.

The addition of the curved, vaulted metal roof systems makes the church more visible from the road, leading to an increased awareness of the church’s presence within the community.
