Fastener features quick installation

ITW Buildex has introduced Reel-Fast,™ a mechanical attachment system for PVC and EPDM single-ply membranes.

The product—which can be used on steel, wood and structural concrete decks—has a reel that encases a 2 3/8-inch seam plate in 6-inch or 12-inch spacing, eliminating the need to measure and set plates by hand. This consistent spacing is said to help installers hit the high rib more often and reduce the time required to mechanically fasten the seam.

Each reel contains 500 plates.
