The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety's FORTIFIED Home™ Program is a cost-effective means to significantly improve homes' resistances to damage from specific regional natural hazards, such as hurricanes, wind-driven rain and hailstorms. The program helps provide uniform, voluntary sets of standards to bring elements of existing homes up to or exceed current code requirements.
Horizontal lifelines offer greater flexibility for fall protection for rooftops and other locations with potential fall risks. The lifelines protect multiple workers per system, allow greater freedom of movement than single-point anchorages and are offered in a variety of configurations. Horizontal lifeline systems provide continuous fall protection while permitting lateral movement.
