SunGard's AvantGard GETPAID, a web-based solution for managing accounts receivables, now is linked to Billtrust's CompleteBilling™ suite of products to offer joint customers a more streamlined approach to the order-to-cash cycle.

AvantGard GETPAID and Billtrust CompleteBilling reportedly help mitigate the challenge of high costs, inefficiencies and inaccuracies associated with the billing process. This offering is said to help accounts receivable managers obtain real-time access to invoice transaction information, including payments made and transactions disputed. It also offers businesses a solution to invoice creation and delivery; automated credit, collections and dispute resolution; and electronic invoice presentment and payment, including auto-cash processing.

Underlayment adheres in cold weather

Henry® Co. has introduced its Blueskin® Roof Low Temp Roofing Underlayment (RF200LT), a self-adhering roof underlayment designed for application and performance in cold weather.

RF200LT has the features of Henry's Blueskin Roof Ice & Water Barrier combined with a low-temperature adhesive waterproof compound and is designed to be applied at temperatures higher than 14 F.

Weather application is available for Android™

Telvent, a global information technology solutions and business information services provider, announced its MxVision Weather-Sentry® SmartPhone and Roaming Alerting weather application for smart phones now is available to Android users.

Telvent customers reportedly can access the company's weather forecasting service from any location. Based on the GPS position of the user's smart phone, the application provides real-time forecasting information about approaching lightning, storm corridors and precipitation. When cloud-to-ground lightning occurs within a predefined radius or when customers move within a storm path, the application uses Telvent's alerting technology to provide location-specific warnings. It also notifies the user with an all-clear message when business operations can safely be resumed.

Application users also can add and remove layers of relevant real-time weather information, such as lightning, wind speeds and the paths of oncoming storms, and have an option to consult online with a meteorologist any time of the day or evening.

Thermal barrier is environmentally friendly

Slate roofing manual is available on CD

The National Slate Association has made its Slate Roofs: Design and Installation Manual, which consists of 288 pages of text and detail drawings, available on CD. The guide, which was published in 2011, was developed to assist design professionals, contractors and building owners with the installation, repair and replacement of natural slate roofs.
