Camera system is durable

EarthCam has introduced its 12 MegapixelCam Advanced HD system, a webcam system designed for construction job-site management, archiving and promotion; the system is said to be durable.

The MegapixelCam Advanced HD system is powered by EarthCam's Control Center 7 service monitors and is said to archive remote job sites to support progress reports, aid with claim resolution and create time-lapse movies of projects. The camera system reportedly captures color accuracy close to what the human eye can see and is available with solar, wireless and satellite communication options. The camera features an enclosure with a heating and cooling system and an optional remote washer system that is said to protect the camera and provide reliable image continuity.

Gutter protectors prevent water damage

FXI Building Products Corp. has introduced its Leaf Defier® gutter protection system, which reportedly improves storm water management, enhances building durability and helps prevent pest infestations by allowing water and fine particulates to flow through gutter systems while keeping leaves and other debris out.

Leaf Defier is made of high-performance urethane polymers. It reportedly inserts easily into gutters and prevents leaves, twigs, pine needles and other obstructions from entering and clogging gutter systems. The gutter protection system also is said to prevent pests from entering gutter cavities and reduce overflows that can infiltrate structures and cause water damage.

Sage North America has introduced Sage Timberline Enterprise, business management software for the construction industry that is said to simplify business processes and service operations and improve efficiency and productivity.

Sage Timberline Enterprise is designed for service and specialty contractors and integrates accounting and operational workflows such as service management, job management and estimating. Eyewear provides comfort

Gateway Safety Inc. has added StarLite® FOAM to its StarLite line of protective eyewear. StarLite FOAM has a soft foam edge that is said to block dirt and debris and help absorb perspiration in warm work environments.

StarLite FOAM features scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses that reportedly block more than 99.9 percent of ultraviolet (UV) light. StarLite FOAM is available in gray and clear anti-fog lenses that are said to help prevent fogging when transitioning from hot weather to air-conditioned areas.

In addition, Gateway Safety has introduced its Varsity™ protective eyewear, which features a V-shaped temple design and wraparound lenses.

Varsity protective eyewear also features a soft, adjustable nosepiece that reportedly provides a custom fit and helps prevent the eyewear from slipping. Varsity protective eyewear is said to be impact- and UV-resistant.

Jacket protects wearer

Ergodyne has added the GloWear® 8379 Economy Bomber Jacket to its GloWear Foul Weather Gear Series.

The GloWear 8379 Economy Bomber Jacket is said to increase workers' safety and visibility. The jacket features 2-inch-wide reflective tape and reportedly protects wearers from the elements with a weatherproof 100 percent polyester shell and removable microfleece liner.

Ergodyne also has added ProFlex® 816 Thermal Flip-Top Gloves to its ProFlex® Hand Protection product line. The gloves are said to help roofing workers stay warm, protect their hands and maintain productivity on the job.

The gloves are made with a combination of polyester knit and windproof fabrics as well as a water-repellent microfleece liner.

The gloves, which also are double-layered with synthetic suede palm protection and have an anti-slip grip, reportedly can be worn as full mittens or with the tops flipped back and secured in place with a hook and loop.
