Roof patch offers fast repairs
Kemper System America Inc. has introduced KEMPEROL® Roofpatch, a ready-to-use emergency patch kit to stop leaks and cover cracks and damaged areas.
The 10- by 18-inch reinforced fleece membrane is presaturated in KEMPEROL 1K-SF waterproofing resin and comes in a flat aluminum pouch with rubber gloves. The patch reportedly adheres tightly without a primer to bitumen sheets, PVC roof membranes, concrete, wood and metal; is rain-fast in 60 minutes; and can be walked on after 12 hours.

Coil and sheet products introduced
Drexel Metals Inc. has introduced siliconized modified polyester (SMP) coil and Galvalume® sheet residential products.
The SMP 48- by 120-inch Galvalume sheets are packed 50 per pallet and available with or without film. The SMP 20-inch-wide coils are packaged 1,000 linear feet per coil. All products reportedly are ENERGY STAR®-compliant and available in 11 standard colors plus Drexlume (acrylic-coated Galvalume).

Warming products line expanded
Ergodyne has expanded its N-Ferno® Warming Products line to include N-Ferno FR 3-Layer Extreme Series Winter Liners and an N-Ferno FR 2-Layer Cold Series H&L Mouthpiece to help keep workers warm and protected from the elements. The liners are available in regular and shoulder lengths, and the new products reportedly meet NFPA 70E requirements.
Ergodyne also has expanded its ProFlex® Gel Knee Pad Series to include ProFlex 344 Broad Cap Injected Gel Knee Pads with Articulating Straps and ProFlex 349 Broad Cap Lightweight Gel Knee Pads. Sealant offers superior adhesion
Triangle Fastener Corp. has introduced APS 500™ Advanced Polymer Sealant, a polyurethane- and silicone-based weather-resistant sealant that reportedly provides superior adhesion to a variety of substrates and can be applied in temperatures ranging from 35 F to 140 F.

Roof vents are energy-efficient
GAF has introduced its Master Flow® Green Machine™ High-Power Solar Roof Vent.
The Master Flow Green Machine High-Power Solar Roof Vent reportedly provides up to 50 percent more airflow; is easy to install; has an impact-resistant construction to withstand hail and foreign objects; and is available as a solar-powered or dual-powered vent.
The solar-powered model has a 20-watt integral solar panel and adjustable thermostat and humidistat to help reduce attic cooling costs. Saw blade line expanded
Diablo Tools Inc. has expanded its reciprocating saw blades line to include Diablo Flush Cut Blades and Diablo Pruning Reciprocating Saw Blades.
Diablo Flush Cut Blades are designed to handle nail-embedded wood and metal and are available in 9- and 12-inch lengths. The blades reportedly feature an optimal flex-body height for flush cutting, have a unique tooth configuration to provide smoother cuts with less vibration and deliver four times longer cutting life than bimetal blades.
