H.B. Fuller Construction Products Inc., St. Paul, Minn., has announced Foster® 40-80 First Defense® Disinfectant can be used against coronavirus.
Available in the U.S. and Canada, Foster 40-80 First Defense Disinfectant is a water-based ammonium chloride disinfectant said to have demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to COVID-19. The noncorrosive disinfectant can be used against the virus on hard, nonporous surfaces such as countertops, finished floors and tools. Applied by spray or wipe, the disinfectant has a 10-minute wet contact time.
Foster 40-80 First Defense Disinfectant comes in a 5-gallon pail with a retractable pour spout in the lid. One gallon of disinfectant covers about 1,000 square feet, and the disinfectant has a shelf life of one year.
