Nixalite of America Inc. has introduced its Nixalite Premium bird control strips, which provide barriers that reportedly prevent birds of all sizes from landing, roosting or nesting on surfaces.

Nixalite Premium bird control strips are available in three models—Premium Model S, Premium Model H and Premium Model W. Premium Model S is a 4-inch-wide full-row model; Premium Model H is a 2-inch-wide half-row model; and Premium Model W is a 3-inch-wide wall-mounted model for vertical surfaces. The bird control strips reportedly are flexible, follow curved surfaces and can be cut to custom lengths. Nixalite Premium bird control strips feature up to 120 spikes per foot and are said to be easy to install and remove.

CertainTeed® Corp. has introduced its Mountain Ridge™ hip and ridge accessory, which features a tri-laminate base to prevent sagging and rounded edges that reportedly create a high-profile appearance.

Mountain Ridge's colors are said to blend with CertainTeed's Landmark™ Series, Landmark TL, Presidential Shake™ and Presidential Shake TL shingles. Tool bags are convenient

Capital Safety has introduced its tool bags that attach to full-body harnesses and provide access to tools for workers working at heights.

The tool bags are available in 11- and 15-pocket models. The 11-pocket model is said to accommodate various tools and fasteners, including a combination square and pry bar. The 15-pocket model includes an iron hammer loop and removable top pouch for a tape measure. Both models are made of 1680D ballistic nylon and feature PVC-reinforced pouch bases.

DaVinci Roofscapes has introduced its 12-inch Shake Valley Shingle, which is said to eliminate the need to cut two shingles per course for valley cuts on roof slopes less than 8-in-12 (34 degrees). Fastener attaches base sheets

ES Products has introduced FM-290, a fastener designed to attach base sheets to lightweight insulating concrete roof decks.

Zonet® has introduced its Zonet Internet Protocol (IP) 7630 and IP 7630W network security cameras, which reportedly are easy to install and small enough to be placed in various locations.

Petersen Aluminum Corp. has introduced its 1/2- and 7/8-inch-thick corrugated profiles and a 7.2-inch-thick ribbed profile.

Petersen Aluminum's 1/2-inch-thick corrugated profiles are available in 40-inch-long panels, and its 7/8-inch-thick corrugated profiles are available in 34.6-inch-long panels. System tracks equipment

DeWALT,® Ford Motor Co. and ThingMagic Inc. have introduced Tool Link, a radio-frequency identification (RFID) asset-tracking system that reportedly enables users to track their tools and equipment stored in pickup boxes or vans.

Tool Link is a feature of Ford Work Solutions and is available on Ford Motor's 2009 F-150 trucks, F-Series Super Duty trucks and E-Series vans. The system uses labels to tag, scan and track tools and equipment. A pair of RFID antennas, which are mounted on the insides of a pickup box, scan for tagged items on a preprogrammed list. The data is transmitted to a reader mounted inside the truck's cab and displayed on an in-dash computer screen, which alerts the driver if inventoried tools are missing.

Conduit locators are accurate

Radiodetection Ltd. has introduced its conduit locators, which can be used in reroofing applications to detect conduit containing live power cables.

The conduit locators reportedly detect signals radiating from electrical conductors, use signal-processing techniques to reject unwanted signals and produce "real sound" that allows users to distinguish cables' signals from background noise.

The conduit locators are said to be durable, cost-effective and accurate.

Gateway Safety Inc. has introduced its Serpent™ Ventilated Safety Helmet with a CoolSense™ airflow system, which is said to allow heat to escape and keep a worker cool.

The integration allows jobs created in Job Cost to be imported to Microsoft Office Project. Users also can import costs and units from Job Cost to Microsoft Office Project.

Additionally, WennSoft has introduced WebTECH, a connectivity-independent browser-based application platform that reportedly allows users to access system data while leveraging existing hardware and connectivity methods. The platform is said to provide detailed, accurate service call information.

WennSoft also has introduced Project Management Portal, a product built on the Microsoft SharePoint® platform that is said to allow organizations to manage documents and projects from a central location. The product reportedly allows project managers to create and track common project documents.

Mule-Hide® Products Co. Inc. has expanded its line of asphalt cements and coatings to include its MH #241 flashing cement and a spray version of its MH #121 asphalt primer.

MH #241 flashing cement is designed for use with SBS polymer-modified bitumen roof membranes and reportedly can be used as a night sealer or adhesive on vertical surfaces. The flashing cement also can be used for topical flashing details or repairs in APP polymer-modified bitumen roofing applications.
