OMG® RhinoBond System receives award

OMG Roofing Products, Agawam, Mass., has announced its RhinoBond System and Madrid-based supplier Etanco, OMG Roofing Products' distribution partner in Spain, received a 2017 NAN Architecture and Construction Prize during a Nov. 30 ceremony in Barcelona.

NAN Arquitectura y Construcción magazine and its publishing company, Grupo TPI, annually award prizes in project and construction material categories, including excellence in research and development, innovation, quality, and design. The RhinoBond System was recognized as one of the most advanced methods for securing single-ply membranes in Europe based on Etanco's use of the product for more than 50 projects in Spain. The RhinoBond System uses induction-welding technology to bond roof membranes directly to specially coated plates that secure insulation to the deck, reportedly resulting in a roof system with improved wind performance and zero membrane penetrations.
